Thomas P. Glenz

Mr. Glenz is a rare true Floridian, born and raised in Tampa, Florida.  He graduated from Stetson University’s College of Law where he served and competed on the prestigious Moot Court team.  While still in law school, Mr. Glenz worked with the State Attorney’s Office for the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit in Hillsborough County, Florida.

After graduating from law school in 2000, Mr. Glenz began his career as an Assistant State Attorney in the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit.  While there, he tried numerous cases to verdict.  After gaining valuable trial experience, Mr. Glenz left the office in 2001 and began a career as a civil trial lawyer.

Mr. Glenz first worked for an insurance defense law firm based in Fort Lauderdale, where he honed his skills.  While there, he learned to handle a variety of cases ranging from commercial evictions to products liability and wrongful death.  After a few years at this firm, he was recruited by one of the largest firms in Florida to do the same type of work. 

After arriving at the new firm, Mr. Glenz was deeply involved in a section of the automobile insurance division.  He also worked on a broad range of other matters from drafting and issuing insurance coverage opinions, researching the effects of electronic commerce to wrongful death and catastrophic injury cases.  He routinely advised insurance companies how to avoid getting into “bad faith” scenarios in seminars and on a case by case basis.
